If you've ever wondered what it feels like to live with dementia, this experience can change the way you see and support someone living with cognitive decline.
Join us for the Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT®), an immersive, evidence-based experience that helps participants better understand the challenges people with dementia encounter every day.
Developed by geriatric specialist P.K. Beville, and Second Winds Dreams, the Virtual Dementia Tour temporarily alters participants' sensory and physical abilities using patented equipment while they complete everyday tasks. The result is a powerful experience that builds empathy, awareness, and practical caregiving insight.
After the tour, stay for a relaxed discussion to share experiences, answer questions, discuss caregiving strategies, and connect with others who understand the journey.
Whether you're caring for a loved one at home, work in healthcare, or simply want to learn more, you'll leave with greater understanding and confidence.
• Participate in the 20–25 minute Virtual Dementia Tour®
• Experience common sensory and cognitive changes associated with dementia
• Join a facilitated discussion following your tour
• Learn practical ways to better communicate and care for someone living with dementia
• Connect with other family caregivers, professionals, and community members
